WONKY Paint Chip Challenge

NOTE- This challenge is finished! We just wanted to leave it up in case other guilds are interested  in hosting a similar challenge. 

WONKY RULES 

• We will have paint chips and instructions at the July, August and September meetings in case anyone one who missed the May meeting would still like to join the challenge.  
• Draw an envelope that contains a hidden paint chip.  
• Use 2 of the colors on the paint chip in your project. 
• Add up to 3 additional colors to your project. 
• Select one Category 
• Quilt or Wall hanging (any size is acceptable) 
• Home Dec 
• Purse or tote (Any size is acceptable)
•  Use a “WONKY” design somewhere in the project (i.e. wonky stars, houses, string quilts, log cabins or make up your own ”wonky”). 
• Make a unique label (HOWEVER, you must cover your name on the label for the reveal) 
• Title of the project must have the word WONKY in it. 
• Reveal is the October CMQG Meeting in celebration of the CMQG 2 year anniversary 
• All participants will receive a “thank you gift” for participating 
• The reveal on October 18th will be a WONKY Quilt Show and prizes will be awarded for: 
• Best use of paint chip colors 
• WONKIEST overall project 
• Viewer’s Choice

WONKY PAINT CHIP CHALLENGE REVEAL…CMQG Meeting, Thursday, October 18, 2012 

• Make sure your name is “covered” on the label. 
• Attach your paint chip to the front of the project, bottom right corner 
• Put your project in a brown paper bag and bring to the meeting.
